Lead (II) carbonate basic: White heavy powder, hexagonal crystal system, insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in strong acids such as acetic acid and nitric acid. It is stable at normal temperature and pressure, but when heated to 220℃ (for 4 hours), 9% of the carbon dioxide decomposes, and 95% of it turns into (PbCO_{3}cdot PbO). It decomposes into lead oxide and releases carbon dioxide at 400℃. When in contact with hydrogen sulfide, it gradually turns black and forms (4PbCO_{3}cdot PbScdot Pb(OH)_{2}).

Product Usage

Lead carbonate basic has a high refractive index and weather fastness, widely used in pigments, coatings, plastics, printing and dyeing, analysis reagents, etc .; for pigments, it is used for excellent pearlescent pigments; and it is also used to produce inorganic pigments with paint and pigments. In the printing and ink, it is used for packaging paper, business cards, plastic cloth, textiles and so on.
