Ferro Titanium is an iron alloy of titanium and iron. It also contains impurities such as aluminium, silicon, carbon, sulphur, phosphorus and manganese. It is used as deoxidising agent, desulphurising agent, degassing agent and alloying agent in steel making. In the steelmaking process as an alloying element added to steel, play a role in refining the organisation of the grain, fixed gap elements (C, N), improve the strength of steel and so on. Ferro titanium is used as deoxidiser, degassing agent and carbon and sulphur stabiliser in steel making. Production of sedentary steel with titanium deoxidation, can reduce the segregation of the upper part of the ingot, improve the quality of steel and improve the rate of steel ingot into the material. Titanium and nitrogen dissolved in the liquid steel can be combined into a stable titanium nitride, which can eliminate the adverse effects of nitrogen on steel properties. Titanium and sulphur in the molten steel generate titanium sulphide, which can eliminate the generation of iron sulphide that leads to thermal embrittlement.

Ferro Titanium is a special alloy with a wide range of uses, which is added to steel as an alloying element in the steelmaking process, playing a role in refining the organisational grain, fixing the interstitial elements (C, N), and improving the strength of steel. In the smelting of stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, titanium and carbon combined into a stable compound that prevents the generation of chromium carbide, thereby reducing intergranular corrosion and improving the welding performance of chromium-nickel stainless steel.
