Flavoring agent. Mainly used as a green tea flavor improver (dosage 1% to 2%). Although L-glutamic acid and L-arginine are not essential amino acids, they can be regarded as quasi-essential amino acids for infants and young children because infants and young children have poor ability to synthesize L-arginine. L-arginine has an improving effect on retinal tissue, so it can be used as a drug.
